Can I use my existing TERA account through Steam?
Yes! Any TERA account can be linked to your Steam account. You do not need to create a new TERA account to play through Steam.

Will there be any wipes or will I lose any progress?
No! All existing characters, progress, and purchases will be kept.

Do I have to use Steam?
No. Players who do not use Steam can continue to log in through the TERA launcher. Nothing will change.

What will be different for Steam TERA players?
The only difference for Steam players is using Steam to launch the TERA Launcher. Steam players will be on the same servers as current players and the game play experience will exactly be the same.

How do I link my existing TERA account to my Steam account?
After first launching TERA through Steam you will be prompted to enter your account information. This will link your existing account, and you will not be prompted to enter your account information again.

Your TERA account can be un-linked from Steam through your account settings at any time.

How do I create a new TERA account?
After first launching TERA through Steam you will be prompted to enter your account information. If you do not already have an account, you can create one right in the launcher by clicking the "create account" link.

Follow the prompts, and then check your registered e-mail for a message reading "Your Registration is Almost Complete!". This will contain your verification code that will allow you to complete the registration process.

What countries and regions can play TERA?
En Masse is licensed to published TERA in North America. While we do not restrict game access for all countries outside of North America, some players with En Masse accounts who are able to play TERA may not be able to see it in Steam due to their location.
